Removal of total dissolved solids (TDS) through reverse osmosis (RO)

As steam is produced, dissolved solids increase in concentration and form deposits inside the boiler. This leads to poor heat transfer and reduces the efficiency of the boiler. In order to protect the boiler from these contaminants, they should be controlled or removed, trough external or internal treatment.

Wipro Water provides the reverse osmosis (RO) technology for the removal of dissolved solids. Membranes accommodate higher ionic loads. Systems can be configured for removal of all ions or selective ions (nanofiltration).
