Ultrapure water systems for the semiconductor industry

Wipro Water’s engineering personnel design ultra-high pure water systems for the industry. We have several decades of experience in process sizing, design reverse osmosis (RO), ion exchange (IX) and electrodeionization (EDI) units required in semiconductor manufacture. Water management play an important role in the industry. The semiconductor industry requires ultrapure water for cooling equipment, semiconductors, wafer surface cleaning and device fabrication, to name a few instances.

The plants we design meet consistent standards for quality ultrapure water measured in parts per billions (PPB) for all contaminant types, including: organic and inorganic compounds; dissolved and particulate matter; volatile and non-volatile; reactive, and inert; hydrophilic and hydrophobic; and dissolved gases. This includes the presence of total oxidizable carbons, silica, organic carbon, metals, and resistivity of water in mega-ohm centimetres. A stage-wise reduction of impurities is obtained by strategic selection of technologies and treatment staging.
